Join us for a magical night of music under the open sky as the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra presents its beloved Evening Under the Stars—a cherished Grand Valley tradition now in its 33rd season!
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and favorite people to Las Colonias Amphitheater for this free, family-friendly concert that blends community spirit with musical excellence. The Las Colonias doors open at 5:00 PM on August 23rd. Music kicks off at 6:30 PM with a performance by the Grand Junction Centennial Band, followed by the full Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 PM.
This year’s concert will be more special than ever, with the Western Colorado Chorale joining us on stage for the first time in this event’s history. The program will feature a vibrant mix of patriotic favorites, pops hits, and timeless classical pieces, performed by the valley’s finest musicians. Food trucks and beverages as well as GJSO merch will be available for purchase at the event.
Come hungry and support the arts at our on-site fundraiser, Brats Under the Stars, where you can enjoy delicious, freshly grilled bratwurst meals with proceeds benefiting the symphony. Click here to prepay for your brats dinner:
